The bakery has been operating since May of 1954 and remains active for three consecutive generations, maintaining its traditional identity unchanged. Even today, it operates with wood, faithfully following the old baking methods, despite the effort and labor these entail compared to modern techniques. However, the difference in the quality of the final result is noticeable and thus highly appreciated. The shop’s space exudes authenticity: it is adorned by the traditional wood oven, a 60-year-old manual kneading machine, one of the first of its kind in Greece, as well as an old, traditional scale. All the equipment remains traditional, while the atmosphere is complemented by handmade wooden crates, like those once used for transporting goods. The shop has evolved into a tourist destination, as visitors appreciate it
for its authenticity and the love with which it continues to honor traditional baking. Despite the challenges of modern times, this bakery keeps tradition alive, proving that the old always has its own special value.
