Guardians of Naxos was imagined and realized by a collective of local teachers and students, international academic institutions and passionate individuals to promote sustainable tourism through immersive storytelling. The Guardians of Naxos soundwalks are researched by the students, parents and teachers of Naxos highschools; the soundwalk scripts are then developed with the master students of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and illustrated by bachelor students of Cyprus University of Technology; while the places of interest for local culture are researched by master students of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Guardians of Naxos was initiated in a<\/span> collaboration between three universities: Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (Department of Communication, Media and Culture, Professor Nikos Leandros and Dr Panagiotis Kapos), Cyprus University of Technology (Media Arts & Design Research Lab, Associate Professor Doros Polydorou) and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (Department of Media, Professor Claudius Coenen and <\/span>Professor Georg Struck).<\/p>\n
